My team and I had the opportunity to research Lowe’s market and its competitors, gather primary and secondary research, and present our findings to Lowe’s themselves. My biggest contribution to this project was the discovery of the insight “Nostalgia for Escapism”. Through cultural and trend research I discovered that old school videogames were making a comeback during quarantine and my hypothesis was that people were looking to find comfort and control outside of reality. I had a lot of fun unpacking this idea with my team and coming up with the final strategic for the company.
